Sapphire is a highly durable gemstone with high hardness, meaning that it resists scratches very well. Sapphires are usually fine to be steam and ultrasonic cleaned as they generally only receive stable heat treatments. We guarantee that none of our sapphires have coating or fracture filling treatments. You can also clean your sapphire jewellery from home using gem or jewellery cleaning cloths or dips which can also be purchased from us.
