18 Carat Yellow Gold Three Stone Oval Cut Sapphire Dress Ring

This beautiful and unique dress ring, made in 18 carat yellow gold, is set with three 3mm by 4mm teal blue sapphires surrounded by halos of round brilliant cut diamonds

Pleochroism
Sapphire is a pleochroic gem. This means it will look different colours or different shades of the same colour from different angles. This is an optical feature seen in all sapphires and a cutter will cut a stone in order to display its best saturation, hue and tone from all possible angles. 
These three sapphires all display strong pleochroism and you can see from the photos that they all appear different shades of greenish blue depending on which angle you view them from.
 
Sizing
 
The ring is currently a size M but we can resize it if required. Please select from the options provided if you need the ring size adjusting and allow up to an extra three working days for dispatch. We will resize up to four sizes free of charge, after that additional charges may apply. 
The options available reflect how many sizes we are happy to enlarge or reduce this particular ring by. If the size you require is not on the options please feel free to contact us but it may be that we are unable to enlarge or reduce the ring to a certain size due to the setting or stones that are set in the shoulders.

Care and Cleaning
Sapphire is a highly durable gemstone with high hardness, meaning that it resists scratches very well. This does not mean that it is indestructible however and it may chip or fracture under impacts, so care should always be taken whilst wearing, putting on or removing your jewellery.
 
To prolog the life of the stones we always recommend that your jewellery is put in after any hair products, makeup or perfumes are applied. 
 
Sapphires are usually fine to be steam and ultrasonic cleaned as they generally only receive stable heat treatments. We guarantee that none of our sapphires have coating or fracture filling treatments. 
You can also clean your sapphire jewellery from home using gem or jewellery cleaning cloths or dips which can also be purchased from us.
